We recommend at least 90 minutes if you want to make it to Queen's College and back. If you have never punted before, it would be wise to book for longer or to venture less far. It is really important to be back on time.

6 people per punt, including the punter. Every student punt must contain at least one Johnian.

Punt Booking's can be made for a minimum of 1 hour. Please arrive to the Northampton Street Lodge (25 Northampton St, Cambridge CB3 0AD) 5 minutes before your booking. You will be given a key, and will need to go down to the cushion stores underneath the Old Cripps Lodge, left at the bottom of the ramp. 

Make sure to lock up the Punt, Pole, and Paddle securely to the bank, and to return the cushions and key. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

It is also important that you do not run-over your booking. If you are late starting, your booking will still terminate at the original time. If you stay out too late, and return more than 10 minutes after your end-time, you will be fined.
